The Mists are rising... Back in the 1980s, TSR Inc. published a different adventure. Centered more on the villain than the victim, "Ravenloft" was a tremendous success. Players wanted more of the evil Count Strahd Von Zarovich, and wanted others like him. So, in 1990 TSR released "Realm of Terror", the first Gothic Fantasy game, where wizards and knights were pitted against vampires, werewolves and other gothic creatures that were not only a match for them phisically, but were more three-dimensional than most player characters! Even though Ravenloft is no longer seeing print, it lives on in the Web. The official Ravenloft website, Secrets of the Kargatane carries on the setting, releasing original high-quality material.
