As
you probably know by now, I grew up reading comics. That's
why I am SO very pleased to go public with this, my very first
professional comic book experience: the cover to Knights of
the Dinner Table #80! Published by Kenzer, it's the longest-running
comic on games and gamers, and it's more fun than a barrel
of monkeys! Below you can see the entire processm from sketches
to final coloring. Enjoy! I know I did! :)

Initial Pencil Sketch: Here
I was more concerned with position than with the actual cover.
Notice that I didn't include space for the logo! Here I was
still getting used to the characters. |

Final Pencil Sketch: The
final scene starts taking shape. I had to open space for the
logo, so I removed some guards from the scene. The characters
start taking their final looks. |
