Gen Con
2003

The best four days in gaming strike again!

Gen Con 2003 was amazing! The facilities in Indy were top-notch and you would be hard-pressed to find a room where people weren't gaming. The sheer size of the exhibit hall was intimidating, and yet the corridors were packed. Here are some pictorials recollections of my 2003 Gen Con experience.

Here are Paula and I in the Fiery Dragon booth. This year we had a whole lotta products available, including a couple of tie-ins for Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed line (a.k.a. "the book that sold out twice"). Notice Necromancer's Bill Webb trying his best at not being there! Hey, Bill! Had I know you were there, I'd have asked you to join Monte and I! :)

With a crazy schedule, I was unable to meet with everyone I wanted (including a bunch of EN Worlders), but I manage to take a couple of pics with Kevin "Piratecat" Kulp (seen here with FDP's Jason Kempton and Scott Holden-Jones) and Mike "Mearls" Mearls.

On Friday, just before the Ennies, the Fiery crew got together for the company dinner, with the sharply-dressed Monte joining us.

This was a great Con, and I'm glad Paula and I could make it to Indy! We'd like to thank all those people that were so nice to us, like (in no particular order) Sue and Monte Cook, the whole Fiery Crew, Denise and Jason (of Little Canadia fame), Jeff "Teflon Billy" Ranger, Alish2o (aka the Puppetmaster), Russell and Jane, Richard Thomas, Margaret Weis, Bill Webb, Cthulhu's Librarian, Buttercup, Michael Morris, and a whole bunch of people I'm sure to be forgetting (curse my faulty memory chips!). You were all great!
