The January - May Updates to this Site

![]()
May 30 - I have added another city to the site: Allahin Laswir, Capital of Ingara. The city ruled by Admiral Al-Nasim in the name of Yam ibn Saud, but crying out to Athena for freedom. A city of 22,500 people (although it once had 800,00 in its prime), it has the creepy air of a depopulated city, despite being the most populated city in all of Ingara.
May 27- I have updated the Current Games page. The members of the online game, The Ingaran Adventures #31, mounted an assault on Doctor Dalby's mansion in Alisander. The adventure write-up also includes a map of the first floor of Dalby's Mansion. Below is an excerpt (warning, this adventure features violence and explicit sex).
The house had black, gaping windows under a huddle of gambrel roofs that formed a jagged and fantastic skyline. The roads and alleys that ran past the mansion seemed shadow-blighted. A ghoulish, abandoned temple squatted next to the mansion, leaning at a perilous and incredible angle through the sinking of part of the foundations. The mansion itself made them feel like the interior was an endless avenue of linked infinities of black, brooding rooms given over to cobwebs and memories and the conqueror worm. The mansion was excessively antiquated; the discoloration of the ages hung on the fungi-clad stones like a faded cloak. When they were silent, and listened beyond the noises of the city, they heard creaks, scurries, and hoarse noises from doubtful sources. They noticed none of the townspeople walked next to this mansion nor the curious, abandoned temple next to it.
"Why don't we surround the place and just torch it?" asked Zografos.
May 26th - The location of several online adventures, I present to you today the town of Visaria. Not as large as the cities I have been presenting, but it is important, for it is the location of Doctor Dalby's primary operations.
May 24 - Look in on the secrets of Catemar, the most hated city of all Indor, the city of magic, the place that worships Grindill and seeks to return him to power.
May 23 - Using rules from the new Deities and Demigods, it is time to see Yam ibn Saud in his full glory as Demigod of War!
May 22 - I have added information on yet another Inzeladun city, Kharzho, the city of dreams, capital of Dagam.
May 21 - I updated the Current Adventures with Chapter 6 of the Bloody Seas Campaign, "The Caves of Ancient Secrets"
May 18 - I updated Killren the Archmage with a more filled out text, and I have added his magic items to his character.
May 16 - Here is a lost episode of a finished campaign. It is The Adventures of The Unknown #37, "The Death of Manderkarr." Read about an adventure of Alexander, Issic, and Flower before they met India and Zografos, and the loss of one of their long-time allies.
May 15 - I have put up some information on the city of Alisander, the largest city of Lamapacher.
May 14 -Added the Ingaran
Adventures #30 ("The Golems Come for Flower") to the Current
Adventures page. Here is the preview:
Strength and vigor
filled Issic's thews and he growled like a lion as the battle was joined.
He gave no thought to defense, his sword played a wheel of death about
him, and with each blow there came a crunch of steel on bone, but the
golem did not fall. Zografos likewise wove a web of steel around
himself, thrusting and cutting with his lighter sword with lightning
quickness. The fighting styles of the pair contrasted heavily, yet
they served to counterpoint each other's weaknesses. Issic's
effective hacking worked well with Zografos' practiced thrusts and
counters. Alongside the physical swords of the pair, Zografos'
shadow was likewise attacking, separate from the actions of Zografos
himself. That animated shadow was cutting and parrying against the
shadow of the wretched thing.
The golem, in contrast, had no weapon, and clawed with dirty ham-hands,
gibbering nonsensical noises as it did so. It ignored pain, if
indeed it was capable of recognizing such a sensation. Alexander
summoned the power of Athena to him, and created a glowing short sword of
pure force to attack the golem. The spiritual weapon fought in
tandem with Issic and Zografos. The wretched mummy's fists hammered
into Issic, but with a sweep of Issic's heavy weapon, the foul
corpse-thing was thrust aside, and Zografos buried his rapier through its
eye. But more were coming...
May 12 - Added the
Ingaran Adventures #28 and Ingaran
Adventures #29 to the Current Adventures page. Here is a
preview:
Issic bent down, and strained. The thews and sinews of his
arms stood out in bold relief as he struggled with the massive stone.
Halfway up, Issic staggered, and only the help of Phaidon and Alexander
prevented Issic from being crushed beneath that impressive weight.
It was struggle for life and death, despite the lack of weapons and
intelligence on the part of the stone, for one false step or move would
mean nothing less than an agonizing death Issic's part, and the
half-dragon treated this effort as nothing less than a battle against
nature and gravity. The golden sinewy fingers of the half-dragon
were white-knuckled as he lifted and heaved, his teeth were gnashed
together in a rictus grin, and his legs were spread wide. His back-drawn,
snarling lips exposed his great fighting fangs, and now bloodshot eyes
gleamed in horrid reflection of the weight he was attempting to move.
During the colossal effort, Issic knew and thought only one thing – the
stone would be lifted. And the capstone was lifted up out of
place. Below it stood the victorious half-dragon, his legs spread
wide and his whole body bulging and straining with the effort. Below
him gaped a hole in the ground, and a mouldering wooden ladder.
Issic said in a
strained voice, "Everyone in! I can't hold it forever!"
May 6 - Added two new maps - Map of Azrael and Map of the Dark Continent.
May 2 - Added Killren the Archmage to the Legends Page (well, most of him. I haven't added his magic items yet). He is quite impressive with his 13th level spells. I also updated the 2nd page of the 8th Age, adding in a few more links and some text, largely to the 6th Year. I also updated the Finished Games page, adding dates to the Nashville II (Roland) games.
May 1 - I have added all the old original Nashville games to the Finished Games page. Read about the second Guardians of the Silver Tree, a campaign that eventually culminated with the death of Grindill! Also, I have added a new drawing of a succubus to my art page.
April 29th - I have added a new chapter to the Boris Campaign to the Current Adventures page. The players and I have decided to run that campaign as a full fledged mixture of the Call of Cthulhu rules as set in Inzeladun. Read about the seven visions of Megistias!
April 22nd - I have added Chapters 4 and 5 of the Bloody Seas Campaign to the Current Adventures page. Thrill to the adventures of Aremis, Gaowyn, Red Mak Vasco, Tanner Goodcock, Dak'kon, and Aurora! They encounter one of Lord Xathurst's nefarious plots, and travel deep into the unknown lands in search of treasure.
April 14th - The Ingaran
Adventures 27 is now available. Here is an excerpt:
Larbius then shed his mortal form and stood revealed as a vile ice devil!
He had a towering, repugnant, insect-like body, twelve feet tall. He
had nightmarish claws on his hands and feet and large, putrid, sharp
pinchers at his beaked mouth. His head bulged with great,
multi-faceted eyes that never blinked, and he had a long, unwholesome tail
covered with razor-sharp spikes. He was a leering, abhorrent
travesty, a compound of all that was unclean, abnormal, and detestable.
His presence alone commanded respect.
"Oh,
shit," said Flower.
April 13th - The Ingaran Adventures 26 is available. Written by Chris Bradley and myself, it features the group's incursion into Sharyss' tower.
April 11th - For the first time ever, the D20 stats of Andar the Thunderer are presented on the Legends of Inzeladun page. Along with Han Dirgon, the original characters of my brother, created when we first learned the game in 1981, have now been converted to Third Edition. As soon as the Epic Level sourcebook is released, I plan on doing the 3E stats of Grindill the Archmage, my first character.

April 8th - I am pleased to announce the return of my brother to RPGs and to Inzeladun. He played Gaowynn Dirgon the Paladin in our Bloody Seas Campaign. We played Chapters 2 and 3 of that campaign this evening, and the summaries of that game can be read on the Current Adventures page. Also, for the first time, the Third Edition stats of Adilbrand Noblesword and Gwydion Teldon, the Wolf-Paladin!

February 18th
- Last night we resumed playing the Online Games. I finished the
write- up for that adventure. Here is an excerpt from "The
Guardian of Bone - Part I":
"With both
feet braced on the blood-soaked earth, Issic drove his weapon with the
full power of mighty arms and broad shoulders behind it, and the
gargoyle's head snapped off its body in a spray of blood. Issic
whirled around like a lion at bay, head lowered on his mighty breast,
terrible eyes glittering, both hands gripping his dragon-claw weapon.
A gargoyle thrust viciously, but Issic evaded the horns with a twist of
his huge frame and hacked in savagely. The great claw struck under
the gargoyle's armpit, crunched through the stone-like skin and bit deep
into its ribs, coming out through the gargoyle's abdomen. The
gargoyle slid to the ground, his innards sliding out of the ghastly tear
onto the wet soil, steaming in the cooler air. He swung up his
dragon-claw sword to parry a ruthless claw intended to slash his eyes out,
then brought the heavy weapon down to dash out the third gargoyle's brains
as a man kills a wounded snake."
