The
Calendar The two solstices and the two equinoxes do not actually belong in any particular month, instead marking the beginning and ending of the seasons. Thrym's Season - marked by cold and snow. Thrym's Season is
divided into three months. Thrym's Season begins on the Winter
Solstice. Each month has a different constellation in ascendance,
and is named after that constellation. The names of these months
are: Xaul (spring) - Month of Courage and War, fostering tension, fire, and danger Hera (spring) - Month of Dependability and Stubbornness, fostering fidelity and practicality Artim (spring) - Month of Duality and Travel, fostering humanism, communication, and ideas Surtur's Season - marked by heat and drought in many places.
Surtur's Season is divided into three months. Surtur's Season begins
on the Summer Solstice. Each month has a different constellation in
ascendance, and is named after that constellation. The names of
these months are: Drauj (autumn) - Month of Partnership and Justice, fostering financial success and order. Oddan (autumn) - Month of Water and Desires, fostering beginnings and endings. Faellinar (autumn) - Month of Challenge and Optimism, fostering wisdom and good fortune. The Moons Losric is the largest moon and is similar to Earth's moon. Untamos supports life, and is green in color. Ankou is the smallest moon and is only visible every other month. It has a very erratic orbit and is red in color. Githoniel is normally invisible to the naked eye. It is a very distant moon and doesn't reflect light very well. All the moons are named after their discoverers. The
