The Calendar
of
Inzeladun

The modern Calendar of Western Inzeladun was developed by Grindill in the early years of the Fifth Age.  There are twelve months to each year, and each month has thirty days to it.
The two solstices and the two equinoxes do not actually belong in any particular month, instead marking the beginning and ending of the seasons.

Thrym's Season - marked by cold and snow.  Thrym's Season is divided into three months.  Thrym's Season begins on the Winter Solstice.  Each month has a different constellation in ascendance, and is named after that constellation.  The names of these months are:

Agik (winter) - Month of Patience and Steadiness, fostering discipline and determination
Timbal (winter) - Month of Invention and Change, fostering the unexpected and adventure
Thomtain (winter) - Month of Mystery and Illusion, fostering deception and glamour.

Idun's Season - marked by rebirth and rain.  Idun's Season begins with the Spring Equinox.  Idun's Season is divided into three months.  Each month has a different constellation in ascendance, and is named after that constellation.  The names of these months are:

Xaul (spring) - Month of Courage and War, fostering tension, fire, and danger
Hera (spring) - Month of Dependability and Stubbornness, fostering fidelity and practicality
Artim (spring) - Month of Duality and Travel, fostering humanism, communication, and ideas

Surtur's Season - marked by heat and drought in many places.  Surtur's Season is divided into three months.  Surtur's Season begins on the Summer Solstice.  Each month has a different constellation in ascendance, and is named after that constellation.  The names of these months are:

Eul (summer) - Month of Loyalty and Intuition, fostering close personal relationships
Ankou (summer) - Month of Fire and Authority, fostering power and bravery
Nemed (summer) - Month of Tranquility of Mind, fostering intelligence and reason.

Uller's Season - marked by the color changing of the leaves.  Uller's Season begins on the Autumnal Equinox and is divided into three months.  Each month has a different constellation in ascendance, and is named after that constellation.  The names of these months are:

Drauj (autumn) - Month of Partnership and Justice, fostering financial success and order.
Oddan (autumn) - Month of Water and Desires, fostering beginnings and endings.
Faellinar (autumn) - Month of Challenge and Optimism, fostering wisdom and good fortune.

The Moons
of
Inzeladun

Inzeladun has four moons, but only two or three are normally visible with the naked eye.

Losric is the largest moon and is similar to Earth's moon.  Untamos supports life, and is green in color.  Ankou is the smallest moon and is only visible every other month.  It has a very erratic orbit and is red in color.  Githoniel is normally invisible to the naked eye.  It is a very distant moon and doesn't reflect light very well.

All the moons are named after their discoverers.

The Planetary
Sisters
of
Inzeladun

The Inzeladun solar system has 6 known planets, although there are cults that insist that there are twelve.  Nothing concrete is known about the other planets at this time, although the Cult of Tenebrion insists that their greatest and grandest temple floats on the gases of the largest of these planets.
