Sethotep the Sage

Invoked, restless, 4th Rank Mummy

Sethotep was one of Kronos I's primary sages and advisors.  He built a fabulous collection of books and scrolls, remnants of the Cataclysm.  Sethotep, a hold over of the ancient race of Stygians, convinced Kronos to rebuild the Stygian civilization in the 190th year of the Fifth Age.

Based on Sethotep's recommendations and researches, Kronos I gathered what was left of the Stygian peoples, swept away the shattered pieces of the Confederation, and began to restore the ancient cities of pre-Fourth Age Stygia into a new kingdom, the kingdom of Khemt.  Kronos named himself pharaoh in year 208 V.

Sethotep oversaw the restoration of the ancient monuments and the restructuring of the old religions.  Kronos I became a high priest of Set, setting in motion centuries of Set's power in Khemt.

Sethotep continued to build his libraries until his death in 230.  He was mummified by Kronos and buried in a rock-cut tomb in the necropolis of Demanubti.

Sethotep, always curious, continues to rise every century to find out what is going on in Khemt, and to increase the size of his libraries.  He will also rise to protect his books and scrolls.

Sethotep is an invoked, restless, intact humanoid (his studies revealed to him the rituals to imbue him with 4th rank power).
