Cobalt dragons are the most diabolic of the ferrous dragons. They have no
goals other than to dominate anyone and anything that they come in contact with.
Cobalt dragon's scales are a deep, dark blue with odd patches of both lighter
and darker hues at birth. These colors remain throughout its life.
Cobalt dragons prefer to dwell deep within dark forests or thick jungles.
They have been known to dwell underground, but the entrance to the cavers is
always within wooded areas. They spend most of their time preparing traps
in which to catch their meals or roaming their territories in search of
intruders.
Combat
A cobalt dragon is a crafty fighter who often prepares cunning traps and
ambush those unfortunate enough to trigger the traps. Such traps consist
of rock slides, dead falls, falling trees, and illusions. They are
merciless and use their abilities efficiently and effectively.
Breath Weapon (Su): A cobalt dragon has but one breath weapon: a line of
magnetic energy that hits with palpable force, hurling back the victim 3-6' per
age category of the dragon, if the creature is at least two categories smaller
than the dragon.. Damage comes from tumbling and debris. Creatures
wearing ferrous armor save with a -4 penalty, and their armor and weapons
becomes magnetized.Age
