STEALING
A powerful bastard sword wielded by Lord Komaaks Nagutsikatsenu the
Doombringer. The sword detects evil and it detects good. It
can fire magic missiles (200 ft range, 3 missiles), and a
lightning bolt (8d6 pts of damage, 200 ft range, DC 13). It has a special purpose of destroying Law.
Any lawful creature struck by the weapon must make a Fort save (DC 15) or
die.
Strakoratax is a +2 weapon, and it has the power to
draw the life force from an opponent. On a successful critical hit,
the victim must make a Fort save (DC 17) or die, the victim's soul
devoured by the sword. Note, Lawful creatures struck with successful
critical hit must make
TWO saving throws, one vs death and one vs magic!
The sword can speak, and use telepathy to communicate. It can read magic and languages. Unlike most life stealers, this one is Chaotic Neutral in alignment and will damage any good or evil person that tries to use it. It has a 20 Cha, a 15 Wis, and an 8 Int. Its ego is 22.

The weapon was
forged in Dagam early in the Fifth Age by Tyam the Ugard. It was magicked
by a coven of witches who wanted the sword used by their champion
against the organized forces that were hunting the witch covens of Dagam
at that time. It is currently buried with Lord Komaaks in his
unknown tomb. A replica of this weapon, called Strakoratax II, was
created by the Time Lords of Groll and is used by the clone of
Komaaks.
