undead bane. +5 vs the undead it is, and it deals +2d6 points of
bonus damage to the undead. It
is an intelligent weapon with a 15 Intelligence, 20 Wisdom, a 13
Charisma, a 27 Ego and has a special purpose to slay ghouls. This
weapon kills any ghoul it touches (Disintegrate unless Will save
(DC 16) is made). It can grant its wielder Bull's Strength 1/day. It can
also Find Traps and Detect Secret Doors at will to help find ghoul lairs. This weapon also makes the wielder immune
to the paralyzing touch of ghouls. The sword's alignment is Neutral
Good. It communicates via speech or telepathy, and can read all

This weapon is best known in
recent history as the sword of Glauraith the Vampire Hunter.
It is currently in the keeping of the Twilight Gathering and is at
Itsitlawikanah. The blade was forged in Drychtnoth by Kranothat the
master weapon smith. It was magicked by a necromancer warlord
for his lieutenant. The lieutenant was eventually slain by an
assassin and the blade was given as a gift to another king of Drychtnoth
by the necromancer warlord. The weapon eventually found its way to
Glauraith when he was hunting a ghoul lord in northern Drychtnoth during
46 VI.
