“They stood on a hill.  It was beginning to rain.  Zografos knew something was in those woods... and he had a good idea what that something was.  The unicorn had already vanished.  "Foolish Elf girl!  Do you not know there are wolves in the woods!" he said as he stepped around the gargoyle corpse.  "Call her back! In the woods overlooking Lotharia lurked horror.  Ammi the unicorn, obeying the instructions of Flower had ran into those dark woods.  As Issic, India, Zografos, Flower, and Alexander battled the gargoyles, Ændryal watched the unicorn.  She sent her wolves and werewolves to catch it.  Silently, the wolves ran through the woods toward the little unicorn.
Just as the wolves reached the unicorn a pair of black panthers appeared in front of it.  And behind the panthers stood a man with curly blonde hair.  The man was six feet tall, dressed in brown armour, and carried only a bow. Ændryal was impressed.  It had been many years since someone had actually snuck up on her.  The man and his panthers attacked and began slaughtering the wolves.  Some of the wolves cried out in pain and anger.  Others growled and snarled as they pressed the attack.  Arrow after arrow slammed home from the bow of the man.  The panthers attacked with ruthless efficiency. Ændryal decided to withdraw with most of her werewolves.  She was not one to fight an unknown foe, especially one that could sneak up on her."

~Episode 25, The Ingaran Adventures

Phaidon is originally from Ingara.  His mother and father were killed by a Mind Flayer when he was about 6 years old.  He then moved to Lamapacher to live with his Uncle.  Phaidon’s Uncle is a local Bowyer/Fletcher and Phaidon learned his craft.  He heard stories of archers from far and wide about Tho’ef who was a Guardian of the Silver Tree.  Phaidon began trying to become as skilled with a bow as possible so he could emulate his hero.  Tho’ef is rumored to still reside on Inzeladun and Phaidon would love to meet his hero someday.
He began spending more and more time outdoors in nature and with the animals.  By the time he was eighteen, Phaidon was already a seasoned woodsman and archer.  One day he stumbled upon a Gargoyle that had recently attacked a family of Panthers.  The gargoyle was feasting on the mother and father panther and hadn’t gotten to the two small cubs yet.  Phaidon slew the vile creature and took the two young panthers into his care.  He trained them extensively and taught them the ways of the wild.  The more time he spent with Antaeus and Axylus (the names he gave the panthers) the more he became like a wild animal.  The panthers learned from Phaidon and he learned from them.  Recently, Phaidon joined up with Alexander The Gauntlet Of Athena and his group of companions (India, Issic, Flower, and Zografos) in the fight against evil.  Although Flower and Zografos have gone on to other adventures, Phaidon still counts them as his friends.  He still wonders as to Zografos’ true motivations and why he was never told of ‘Lord Domnhall’s’ true name.  Before Zografos left to slay mind flayers, he summoned a shadow panther from the plane of shadow for Phaidon.  Phaidon named him Zagreus and he has proved to be an invaluable ally as well as an excellent companion.

Phaidon now realizes that his powers (spells and abilities) do not come from nature as he once thought.  He now knows that Athena grants him some of her power to use in the fight against evil.  Phaidon knows that his meeting and joining with the Champions of Athena was not by chance, it was meant to be.

Phaidon’s hatred of Mind Flayers knows no bounds.

Combat:

Phaidon knows all Ranger Spells of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level.  He can cast three 1st level, two 2nd level, and one 3rd level ranger spells per day.  Phaidon generally relies on his skill with the bow during combat.  He has not used Zagreus near as much as he used Antaeus and Axylus.  Perhaps he is afraid of Zagreus getting killed?  Phaidon nearly refuses to give up ground to an enemy, most times fighting with his bow at very close ranges instead of backing off to a safe distance. That is a fault he is beginning to correct.  He is much more valuable to the team raining death on the enemy with his arrows than lying on the ground, bleeding.

Phaidon recently acquired his +2 arrows of Icy Burst on an adventure with his friends.  Never having had magic weapons before, he is really enjoying what his icy shafts of death do to his enemies.  He now has a magical bow that he gained during the fall of the temple of Illsensine in Alisander which, with his magic arrows, makes for a deadly combination.

Phaidon would rather die in battle that let anything happen to his friends (especially India and Flower) or his panther(s).  Phaidon actually misses Flower and hopes that she is alright.
