Notes on Indor:    Indorians are often regarded as barbarians by most of the civilized world.  Indorians themselves tend to see the rest of the world as victims waiting to happen.  The Indorians tend to have a very grim worldview, one which they combat with a lustful ferver for life and living on the edge.  Magic-users are usually killed for cowardice if found, except in the city of Catemar (on the coast of Indor).  The magic they do accept is found in the Rune Casters, a fighter sub-class.

The Guardians decided to travel to Indor. They met and discussed plans to defeat Grindill.  They acquired an abreviated copy of A History of Grindill by Sha’a the Elf which Elah had left behind for Amren the Prophet.  Amren had now to choose between being a channeler or to rediscover the lost art of Geomancy.  They attempted to contact Tomodachi, the Lord of Magic, via Contact other Plane and they thought they had succeeded, but were not sure.  Alrek contacted the Twilight Gathering and tried to get a message to Tomodachi via this method.

They boarded the dream ship and traveled toward Indor.  Upon reaching Indor, they returned to the real world and embarked on the long Regnad River.   At the actual border into Indor, a massive wall of whirling razor sharp blades sprang up, threatening to shred the ship.  Above the wall, lightning bolts were shooting birds that flew overhead.  The ship was returned to Dream Land and the Guardians were witness to a massive cyclonic storm.  Using Dreamslayer, they cut their way through the maelstrom and made their way to the other side of Indor, still outside its borders.

The Guardians decided to move the ship into the whirling dream tornado.  When the winds and dream-matter started to destroy the ship, Ragnar was ordered to put the ship back into the real world.  The ship reappeared on dry land and skidded and bounced to a wrecked stop.  Most of the crew were dead.  Alrek folded the ship up and then the wall of whirling blades reappeared... with the Guardians trapped inside.

Dovinyae managed to activate his psionic power and escape damage.  Ragnar was just very lucky.  Sir Xavier, Daragru, and Alrek were slaughtered in seconds.  The dead were dragged out and Ragnar set about resurrecting them.  Now they needed yet another plan to get into Indor.  They took refuge in a cave, which turned out to be the entrance to a gnomish lair.  Because they were Guardians, the gnomes saw them through to Indor.

Once in Indor, the Guardians traveled to a nearby town and spoke briefly with the townsfolk.  They were also attacked by Grindill’s Stone Golem, Yethrond.  Yethrond attacked and the Guardians were largely unable to deal him a serious injury.  Daragru conceived of an idea to trap the monster.  The ruined dream ship was opened up and the monster was led into it and thereupon trapped when Alrek folded the ship up again.

All characters were awarded 15,000 exp. for defeating the monster

Current Events :  Drychtnoth battled and defeated more and more Nyandarians.  Wars in Lamapacher raged from both ends.  Yam ibn Saud fought in the south and Drychtnoth fought in the north.  The Lamapachans cried out for a savior, but, to date, none have answered that cry.

Notes on Tomodachi, the Lord of Magic : Tomodachi, a wu-jen from the Orient (yet is a Western man by all accounts), defeated the Thing in the Tower to become the Lord of Magic.  Most recently, Tomodachi accomplished a feat unmatched in all the History of Inzeladun.  He removed the Tower of Magic from its base in Orgaludh to the Outer Planes, depositing it into the Abyss, where it seems likely it will remain lost for all time.  His reasons for this action are unclear.  He destroyed the method of magic use established centuries before by the Archmage Grindill and weakened the power of that same mage.  He also proved once and for all that the Tower was not the source of magic for Inzeladun, as had been believed for centuries, (a theory only recently debated by the mages Killren, Thigru, Thumedan, and Kherit.)  Tomodachi recently underwent a massive transformation and rivals the combined might of all twelve council members in power.

Yethrond:  A stone golem made up of parts of dead earth elementals.   He has the heart of a mountain and eyes made of diamonds.  He was created recently by Tzareth, the lich queen of Golgaryllgar, per Grindill’s request.  He was assembled in Khemt under the watchful eyes of Khemian stone masons and artisans.  The monster of rock was animated on Golgaryllgar.  Tzareth sent the creature across the sea to the Indorian city of Catamar, the religous headquarters of the Grindill cult.  In awe at the sheer power of their new guardian, the people cheered the majesty of Grindill.  Yethrond loves to be cheered at.  Anything that touches it turns to stone.  It also has a breath weapon and very strong limbs.  It is reasonably intelligent, but is unable to talk except for angry roaring.
