Visual: This is the largest city in all of Odhirann, and even features
stone walls atop the earthen mounds that surround the city. As Dun Avren
grows, a larger circle of earthworks are built, resulting in a city that, from
above, seems like several concentric circles of earth and stone, with the oldest
part of the city in the center, going out to the newest.
Behavior: Honor is very dear to the people of Dun Avren, and a man's
reputation is worth more to him than life. They believe in a mixture of courage,
honesty, integrity, loyalty, and physical prowess. The society is very segregated
into several classes – not everyone is born equal here. Dun Avren society is
divided into slaves, commoners, craftsmen, the priesthood, and the warrior nobility.
Loyalty is the key to Dun Avren behavior. Loyalty to oneself demand that a
person be strong, brave, skilled in combat, and true to his word. Loyalty to
kin is a vital protection in Dun Avren society. Loyalty to Dun Avren is the
highest focus of loyalty in this society.
