Introduction

Airtha is a fairly generic fantasy campaign world that I created a few years ago that leans somewhat towards the style and feel of Tolkien's works. Of course, such a world may not suit everyone's tastes, and some people may even argue that D&D isn't particularly well suited to represent such settings - but nevertheless, that is the type of game/world that interests me the most.

It may also be of interest to know that the 'Werewolves of Hargaldor' adventure is set in this world - though the names of the regular D&D deities were included in the adventure itself (so as to cause less confusion to DM's using it as a stand alone adventure). In addition, each of the villages on the ‘settlements’ page, as well as the supplement 'Orcs - The Goblin Horde' are also taken from the setting.
These things, combined with information found on the Airtha pages, should give you a pretty good feel for the setting - though there is, of course, nothing stopping you from running a completely different style of game using some of the material found on the campaign website (utilising only the maps for example), or simply ignoring the parts that are of little interest.
